Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN, MedSurg / Tele to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients with COVID, respiratory, GI, diabetics, tele, TIA, CVA, and surgical needs.
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5 and ensure high-quality patient monitoring on the Telemetry unit.
• Interpret tele strips and ensure compliance with monitoring requirements, posting results at least once a shift.
• Administer set rate drips such as Diltiazem and collaborate with charge nurses and house supervisors.
• Work with nurse aides, respiratory therapists, and utilize equipment like Bipap and Cpap.
• Adhere to schedule requirements including weekend, holiday, and floating stipulations as directed.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing with the state of Arizona.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required for this role.
• Experience in reading tele strips and managing surgical patients is essential.
• Familiarity with Cerner charting systems recommended due to the single day of orientation provided.
• Previous experience in MedSurg or Tele units involving patient care and collaborative practice.
• Professional demeanor, effective communication skills, and adherence to the navy scrub dress code.
