Address: 6226 University Park Drive, Radford, VA 24141 Schedule: 7am-7pm Top Reasons why a Nursing position with Pyramid Healthcare - New River Valley Inpatient is unique: Our Nurses do not have to assist with ADLs: All clients are independent for Bathing, feeding, grooming, personal hygiene, etc. No catheters, I/Vs/Ports/Midlines Our Nurses are not responsible for blood draws (we contract with a national lab who does them) There are minimal physical requirements for our Nursing positions: No heavy lifting, No long periods of standing/walking, etc. No paper MAR's - we have active eMAR Essential Duties And Responsibilities Complete initial Nursing Assessment with new admissions Medication administration and education to clients Ability to learn delivery of detox protocols (COWS and CIWA scales) Coordinate and support Medical providers with initial assessments and medication management appointments Maintain medical equipment in proper working order Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications LPN license for VA Pyramid CORE Values We are committed and proud to live our CORE values and use them to inspire those around us.
