Assistant Store Manager, Williamsburg

Our client, a contemporary fashion boutique , is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join the team in Williamsburg . This is a full-time, permanent position starting immediately. Candidates should be able to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.\n

Job Duties Include

\n
• Serve as Acting Store Manager as needed, overseeing daily store operations, team leadership, customer experience, and execution of brand standards in the Store Manager’s absence.
\n
• Manage opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, security protocols, operational checklists, and end-of-day sales recaps/reporting.
\n
• Coach, motivate, and support the sales team to achieve individual and store goals, strengthen product knowledge, and deliver an elevated luxury client experience.
\n
• Oversee key back-of-house and operational functions, including receiving and processing shipments, inventory organization, replenishment, stock accuracy, and maintaining an organized sales floor and stockroom.

Job Qualifications Include

\n

\n
• 2+ years of premium or luxury retail experience, ideally with prior supervisory, key-holder, or Assistant Store Manager responsibilities.
\n
• Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate a team, drive sales performance, and deliver an elevated client experience.
\n
• Highly organized and operationally proficient, with experience in opening/closing, cash handling, inventory, shipment processing, and daily sales reporting.
\n
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for duration of shift.

Salary: $60K + commission\n
