RN - Quality Assurance

Job Overview Registered Nurse – Quality Assurance located at Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center (primary) and Providence Milwaukie Hospital (secondary), with occasional travel to Providence Newberg Medical Center. Full‑time, day shift (Monday-Friday, 7:30 am‑4:00 pm). The RN provides assessment, evaluation and support for all quality initiatives within PHS Oregon, ensuring compliance with Medicare/Medicaid, The Joint Commission, and third‑party payers. The RN works with physician leadership, directors and managers to develop and implement quality initiatives, including risk monitoring, reduction in clinical and non‑clinical systems, and multidisciplinary quality improvement projects. The RN facilitates and mentors department teams, authorizes decisions, and recommends innovative solutions. Responsibilities This position includes the following duties: Provide concurrent and retrospective support managing initiatives to comply with CMS and TJC requirements. Collaborate with physician leadership, directors, and managers on quality efforts. Develop and implement quality improvement projects, coordinate multidisciplinary teams. Facilitate and mentor department personnel related to performance improvement. Authorize decisions and recommend innovative solutions. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Active Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire. Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience. Minimum of 5 years of hospital experience in progressively responsible positions involving multiple departments. Demonstrated experience communicating effectively with physicians, nursing staff, the public, and hospital management. Demonstrated leadership experience. Experience with a variety of patient populations and care delivery models. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Nursing, Public Health, Business, Healthcare, or Business Administration. Adult medical‑surgical experience. Benefits Competitive salary within $50.14‑$77.83 per hour.
