Relocation assistance provided What You Will Be Doing Develop and coach Guides to implement Alpha's coaching framework with reliability, enthusiasm, and exacting standards. Facilitate dynamic life skills workshops addressing communication, concentration, feedback, leadership, and resilience for students in grades K-8 using established playbooks. Analyze student and Guide performance metrics to uncover coaching needs, eliminate obstacles, and produce tangible improvements weekly. Conduct motivational sessions that empower every student to embrace ambitious targets and achieve them reliably. Oversee your own student cohort while demonstrating the coaching quality and accountability expected from all Guides. What You Won’t Be Doing Delivering academic instruction. Students complete core academics on their own via AI-powered learning platforms. Developing lesson plans or curriculum materials. Your focus is outstanding coaching, not instructional design. Controlling classrooms via lectures, worksheets, or behavioral management systems. Students direct their own learning while you coach the behaviors that enable success. Reducing standards to sidestep challenging discussions. Rigorous expectations and authentic belief in student potential are inseparable. Defining success by activity volume rather than tangible outcomes. Impact takes precedence over effort alone. Educational Consultant Key Responsibilities Establish a coaching environment where outstanding Guides reliably cultivate students who are passionate about learning, achieve academic mastery ahead of schedule, and develop the resilience, leadership, and life competencies needed to thrive well beyond school. Basic Requirements Available to work on-site in Austin, TX; Dallas, TX; Fort Worth, TX; or Oklahoma City, OK (relocation assistance available). Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, Organizational Leadership, or a comparable discipline. 5+ years of professional experience in education, learning and development, coaching, youth leadership, or a similar domain. History of managing an active team of five or more adults, holding primary or final authority for hiring decisions and performance-based terminations. Consistent, recurring accountability for the education, behavior, motivation, or development of children aged 5-14 within educational, developmental, athletic, or youth leadership contexts. Demonstrated success building, launching, or substantially expanding a program, team, school, business, or initiative from inception, not merely sustaining or inheriting existing operations. Verified capability to apply performance data and metrics to identify issues, prioritize interventions, and achieve quantifiable outcomes. Comfort working in a school environment that intentionally rejects conventional teaching methods. Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship. Nice-to-have Requirements Master's degree in Education, Psychology, Organizational Leadership, or a similar field. Background coaching athletics, facilitating outdoor or experiential education, managing camps, youth initiatives, or other group-based organizations. Experience creating or directing innovative education programs, EdTech ventures, tutoring services, nonprofit initiatives, or learning models beyond conventional classroom instruction. Personal record of outstanding accomplishment in academics, athletics, entrepreneurship, or leadership roles. Deep belief that education should produce capable, resilient, self-reliant young people instead of merely transmitting academic material.
