Position Summary

Maintains Avum's development environment networks, systems, and applications at the core level. Serves as on-premises system administrator for physical infrastructure and provides technical support for internal tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain development environment network devices and configurations
• Architect, configure, and troubleshoot systems and applications at the core level
• Serve as on-premises system administrator for physical infrastructure task
• Support internal tools and platform maintenance (Gitea, Redmine, etc.)
• Manage user accounts, access provisioning, and endpoint management
• Implement and maintain network security policies and monitoring
• Support migration projects and infrastructure upgrades

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $100,000-$130,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, certifications, and geographic location. • Hybrid/remote work environment with potential on-site requirements based on contract needs
• U.S. citizenship required
• Security clearance: Active Secret clearance required or ability to obtain
• Background investigation required

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, or related field
• 3+ years of system or network administration experience
• Experience with Linux and Windows server administration
• Active Secret clearance
• U.S. citizenship required
• Knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, and VPN configurations

Preferred Qualifications

• CompTIA Security+, Network+, or CCNA
• AWS or cloud administration experience
• Jamf or MDM platform experience
• Scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
