Ferretti Search is delighted to partner with a growing organization in Charlotte, NC to locate their next Controller. Location: Charlotte, NC Compensation: $130,000–$160,000 base + bonus Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday What’s in it for you? Leadership Role: Own the accounting function and serve as a key partner to executive leadership. Accounting Oversight: Lead general ledger, month-end close, and financial statement preparation. Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate, timely reporting in accordance with GAAP. Internal Controls: Establish and maintain strong controls, policies, and procedures. Budgeting & Forecasting Support: Partner with finance leadership on planning and analysis. Cash Flow Management: Oversee working capital, cash flow, and liquidity planning. Audit Coordination: Manage relationships with external auditors and support audit processes. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting operations and enhance reporting capabilities. Who are you? Experienced Controller: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred. Strong Technical Skills: Deep understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls. Hands‑On Leader: Comfortable managing both strategic initiatives and day‑to‑day accounting operations. Systems Oriented: Experience with ERP systems and strong Excel skills.
