We are seeking an experienced Field Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair heavy construction equipment and vehicles at project sites. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills and experience working with heavy equipment in a construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on heavy construction equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine issues.
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and perform field repairs.
• Inspect equipment regularly and identify potential maintenance issues.
• Repair and maintain construction machinery, trucks, and support vehicles.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns at active construction sites.
• Coordinate with project supervisors and equipment operators regarding maintenance needs.
• Ensure all repairs are completed safely and efficiently.
• Maintain tools, parts, and service equipment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, Field Mechanic, or Construction Equipment Mechanic .
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and heavy equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems.
• Experience working with construction equipment.
• Ability to work independently in field conditions.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to travel to different construction project locations as required.
