What You'll Be Responsible For

As our Safety Director, you'll oversee every aspect of our safety program, including:

• Championing a company-wide culture of safety
• Ensuring DOT, FMCSA, and company compliance
• Conducting accident investigations and developing corrective action plans
• Leading new driver safety orientation and ongoing training
• Performing internal audits and maintaining driver qualification files
• Monitoring CSA scores and identifying opportunities for improvement
• Working closely with operations and maintenance to proactively reduce risk
• Coaching drivers and reinforcing safe driving habits

What Success Looks Like

Our Safety Director is measured by results, including:

• Maintaining excellent DOT and FMCSA compliance
• Reducing preventable accidents and safety incidents
• Keeping driver qualification files accurate and audit-ready
• Conducting timely accident investigations and follow-up
• Delivering monthly safety meetings and coaching sessions
• Driving continuous improvement across our entire safety program

We're Looking For Someone Who

• Has a strong understanding of FMCSA and DOT regulations
• Can confidently coach drivers while earning their respect
• Is organized, detail-oriented, and accountable
• Takes ownership and solves problems proactively
• Communicates professionally with drivers and leadership
• Uses data to identify trends and improve performance
• Wants to build upon one of Pennsylvania's strongest safety programs

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday–Friday
• 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Flexibility as needed for accidents, audits, and driver support
• Primarily based at our terminal with occasional ride-alongs and site visits
