Join Our Caring CommunityThe Medical Receptionist is responsible for the front desk operations of a healthcare facility. This role involves greeting patients, scheduling appointments, handling inquiries, and maintaining patient records. The Medical Receptionist ensures a smooth and welcoming experience for patients and supports the medical team with various administrative tasks.The Medical Receptionist is responsible for welcoming patients and offering administrative support within a physician practice or center. This may include the following responsibilities:Greeting Patients: Welcome patients and visitors professionally, both in person and over the phone.Scheduling Appointments: Manage appointment calendars, schedule patient visits, and coordinate with medical staff to optimize schedules.Patient Records: Maintain and update patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Works in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.Billing and Payments: Ensure patient accounts are updated correctly. May include collecting copay at time of visit.Inquiries and Communication: Answer incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries, and provide general information.Office Management: Ensure the reception area is tidy, sanitized, and well-stocked with necessary materials.Administrative Support: Assist with other administrative tasks as needed, such as ordering supplies, managing office inventory, and sending courier packages.Use your skills to make an impactRequired Qualifications:1 year or more of experience working in a Healthcare setting preferred, but will consider candidates with a strong Customer Service background in Retail Hospitality, Call Centers, etc.Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving patient experiences and careExcellent customer service and phone etiquette• Team player with a positive attitudeAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentAttention to detail and highly organizedKnowledge of Microsoft OfficePreferred Qualifications:Value-based care model experienceKnowledge of Medical TerminologyExperience with EMR Systems (Electronic Medical Records)Bilingual in English and SpanishAdditional Information:This role is considered patient-facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40Pay Range: $38,000 - $45,800 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
