This role involves supporting clients in a therapeutic environment, conducting nursing assessments, and directing subordinate staff within a mental health nursing framework.

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Geriatric Psych

• Provide nursing assessment, planning, interventions, and evaluations for adult clients
• Assign work and provide direction and training to subordinate nursing personnel
• Maintain a therapeutic environment for clients
• Conduct de-escalation interventions as needed

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Geriatric Psych

• Current Montana RN License or compact
• Min 2 years of experience in Geriatric Psych Nursing
• 1 year of Travel Contract Experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Non-mandatory but highly desired: CPI Certification
