Retail Administrative Assistant

The Retail Administrative Assistant will initially report to the Director of Retail but will be redirected to report to The Retail Operations Manager later. The position will report to work daily at 700 Governor's Drive in Retail Warehouse. The administrative assistant will assist the Operations Manager in supporting the golf shops and Sanctuary Retail shops daily.

The rate of pay listed on job boards are auto-generated numbers. Kiawah Island Golf Resort's actual rate of pay will be determined during the hiring process.

Qualifications:

• Daily inputting of invoices relating to inventory and other areas of the operation into the Island's accounts payable software
• Assist with inputting Purchase Orders into the Inventory Retail System
• Process return request
• Support the golf shops and hotel retail shops daily on their inventory needs
• Assisting with receiving and tagging of merchandise as needed
• Assistance in end-of-month inventory counts and entry for all retail locations
• Check inventory levels in shops and replenish products out of warehouse daily
• Assistant with keeping the warehouse organized and clean
• Assist will filing and month end reconciliations
• Work with the Retail Operations Manager daily
• Uphold the core values, and policies and procedures of the resort.
• All other duties as assigned.

Expectations & Responsibilities:

• Some experience with inventory control and data entry preferred.
• College degree preferred
• Must be detail oriented and have some knowledge of golf and retail.
• Must work both independently and in a team environment.
• Good to excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Essential Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds across short-medium distance.
• Must be able to operate hand trucks
• Must be able to stand, stoop, and bend throughout shift.
• Must be able to work on site due to daily needs of the job requirements.
