The role features 12-hour daytime shifts, with guaranteed hours and a fixed start window. Orientation requires local candidates starting on Tuesdays or Thursdays. You will provide resident-centered nursing care in a nursing home environment with a focus on safety, documentation, and collaborative care planning. Key Highlights

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled nursing care to residents, including monitoring and documenting changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, maintaining accurate records and ensuring safety.
• Perform routine assessments, vital sign checks, and timely reporting of any concerns to the supervising clinician.
• Assist with activities of daily living and comfort measures, promoting dignity and independence.
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and other care team members to implement and update care plans.
• Uphold infection prevention, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance in daily practice.

Requirements

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Mexico.
• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Relevant LTC experience preferred; ability to work in a long-term care setting.
• Ability to perform 12-hour day shifts and participate in a local, commuting assignment.
• Basic documentation and data-entry skills; strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Residence within commuting distance to Santa Fe, NM.
