Operating Room - Surgical Technologist

Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience:

• 34 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is required.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Medical declinations accepted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Providence Health & Services and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Providence Health & Services.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Will not consider less than 3 years of experience. - Experience in ortho, neuro, vascular, robotics, and trauma. - Required experience with microscope, laparoscopic camera and tower equipment, and arthroscope equipment.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - 5 years of experience preferred. - Airway management preferred. - Craniotomy preferred. - Experience with Stealth Navigation Station and daVinci Xi preferred. -Community Hospital Experience: Preferred

Required Credentials: - Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

Special Requests: - RTO must be listed at time of submission. - All lab items requested during onboarding must be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract. Candidates must be responsive and willing to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility. - References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. - You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Unit Details: - Orthopedics (total joints and ortho trauma), neurosurgery, vascular, robotics, general, GU, and GYN cases. - Adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient population. - Case cart, crash cart, and scrub duties.

Shift & Scheduling: - Weekend work per needs of unit. - On-call per needs of unit. - Variable shift start times could be 7am, 9am, 11am, or 3pm. - May need to cover one night shift within the contract as needed. - RTO: No more than 7 days.

Floating Requirements: - Float to Queen, Petaluma Valley, and Healdsburg.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
