HVAC Counter Sales AssociateWe are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused HVAC Counter Sales Associate to join our team in Birmingham, United States. In this role, you will be the go-to expert for HVAC contractors, technicians, and DIY enthusiasts, providing top-notch customer service and technical advice while driving sales of HVAC equipment and supplies.Assist customers with product selection, offering expert advice on HVAC systems, parts, and accessoriesProcess sales transactions and manage customer accounts using point-of-sale (POS) systemsMaintain accurate inventory records and restock shelves as neededCollaborate with suppliers to ensure product availability and resolve any issuesStay up-to-date with the latest HVAC technologies, industry trends, and local building codesHandle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional and timely mannerParticipate in ongoing product training to enhance knowledge and sales skillsSupport marketing initiatives and promotions to drive sales and customer loyaltyEnsure a clean and organized sales floor and counter areaQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; HVAC certification preferred1-3 years of experience in HVAC sales or related fieldStrong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and industry best practicesExcellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanorProven sales ability and experience in a retail or counter sales environmentProficiency in using computer systems, including POS and inventory management softwareBasic math skills for calculating prices, discounts, and preparing quotesFamiliarity with local building codes and regulations related to HVAC installationsAbility to lift and move products weighing up to 50 poundsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsDetail-oriented with excellent organizational abilitiesFlexibility to work weekends and occasional evenings as neededAdditional InformationEqual Opportunity Employer, including disability / veteransBosch adheres to Federal, State, and Local laws regarding drug-testing.
