Registered Nurse Operating Room

Job Summary:

Seeking a seasoned Travel RN in the Operating Room to support a busy surgical unit. This seasonal position offers a 13-week assignment with a focus on acute care procedures, robotics, and trauma care, requiring adaptability and strong clinical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and perform surgical procedures in a fast-paced OR environment.
  
  
• Utilize advanced equipment including DaVinci Robotics to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  
  
• Adhere to unit policies, safety standards, and response times for on-call coverage.
  
  
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide quality patient care.
  
  
• Maintain detailed documentation using Meditech EMR system.
  
  
• Support trauma, neuro, and vascular surgeries with specialized skills and experience.
  Qualifications:
  
  
• Hold an active RN license with at least 1 year of current acute care OR experience.
  
  
• Possess BLS and ACLS certifications required; robotics experience preferred.
  
  
• Demonstrate pediatric trauma OR surgical experience with advanced instrumentation.
  
  
• Display strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  
  
• Able to work a flexible schedule with on-call responsibilities from 5 PM to 11 PM, Monday through Friday.
  
  
• Experience with Meditech EMR and trauma/neuro procedures highly advantageous.
