Registered Nurse - Operating Room

$1958.40/week -

Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the Operating Room. Ensure patient safety, assist with surgical interventions, and support surgical teams throughout operative processes.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assist in maintaining a sterile environment and preparing the OR for procedures.
  
  
• 
  Support surgical teams by circulating and scrubbing during diverse operative cases.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to any changes or emergencies.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation of patient status, procedures performed, and post-operative care.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to unit policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years current hospital acute care OR experience.
  
  
• 
  BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate circulating and scrubbing experience in the OR.
  
  
• 
  Proficient with Meditech or similar electronic medical record systems.
