Qualifications:

• Possess a valid Professional Vermont Teaching License plus one of the following:
  • Special Educator Endorsement
  • Special Education Consulting Teacher Endorsement
  • Intensive Special Education Teacher Endorsement
• Fingerprinting required; approved fingerprints from recent assignments are accepted
• Thoughtful, flexible, and innovative approach to special education

Responsibilities:

• Full-time assignment (35 hours/week) running August 19, 2026, to June 14, 2027
• Serve at the high school level (Pilot Program: executive function, Autism, severe behaviors, real-world employment preparation) or elementary level (learning disabilities, high functioning Autism)
• Collaborate closely with a supportive team, including PT/OT staff at the elementary level
• Adapt and create engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse student populations
