We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Logistics Manager.Position Overview:We are looking for a talented and experienced Logistics Manager to oversee our construction logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics management, as well as a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and a strong understanding of construction processes. This position requires a detail-oriented, proactive, and organized individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Responsibilities:Develop and maintain an efficient and effective logistics strategy for all construction projectsPlan and coordinate all transport and delivery activities, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials and equipmentMonitor and manage inventory levels of materials and equipment, ensuring adequate supply at all timesManage and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating prices and terms for materials and equipment purchasesOversee logistics team, providing leadership, training, and support to ensure optimal performanceEnsure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirementsIdentify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costsCoordinate with project managers and other departments to ensure smooth and timely project executionResolve any logistical issues or delays that may arise during construction projectsMonitor and track project and logistics expenses to ensure budget complianceQualifications:Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related fieldProven experience in logistics management, preferably in the construction industryStrong knowledge of supply chain and logistics principles and best practicesExceptional organizational and time-management skillsExcellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilitiesProficient in Microsoft Office and logistics softwareAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentValid driver's license and clean driving recordSalary: $120,000-$150,000 per yearWhy Work for Us:At D & S Construction Group LLC, we value our employees and strive to create a positive and supportive work environment.
