Job TitleTotal Rewards of a Allied Health ProfessionalDutiesDuties include but not limited to:Works collaboratively in an interdisciplinary coordinated care delivery environment (i.e., patient aligned care team, or other specialty care.Handle multiple phone lines on in an inpatient care setting, making sure these calls are forwarded to correct staff if needed.Develop/maintain effective and efficient communication with the patient, interdisciplinary team, management team, VA medical centers, and other agencies.Perform administrative duties, train other MSAs on correct operations and serve as a preceptor to developmental level MSAs.Schedule appointments; notifies his/her supervisor when clinic area access is less than desirable or if an individual patient cannot be scheduled within mandated timeframes.Processing physician orders from CPRS and verifying orders in CPRS upon completion.Organizes work independently and handles administrative and scheduling problems and deviations based on personal knowledge of operations and policy, schedules, and provider's preferences.Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4:30PMRecruitment Incentive (Sign-on Bonus): Not AuthorizedPermanent Change of Station (Relocation Assistance): Not AuthorizedTelework: Not AvailableVirtual: This is not a virtual position.Functional Statement #: 71018-FPermanent Change of Station (PCS): Not Authorized
