Job Description
Join Our Dynamic Labor and Delivery Team!


- Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
- Location: Labor and Delivery Unit
- Start Date: ASAP
- Patient Ratios: 1:2
- Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience
- Exceptional experience in performing sterile vaginal exams independently
- Certifications Required:
- ACLS
- AWHONN Advanced
- BCLS
- NRP
- Scheduling Preferences:
- Open to working weekends, exceeding every other to meet unit needs
- RTO requests to be included at time of submission
- Facility Highlights:
- Type of Facility: Acute Care Hospital
- Total Staffed Beds: 320

- Patient Care:
- Age Groups: Neonates, Adolescents, Adults
- Daily Census: 7
- Support Services: Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and more!


- Job Responsibilities:
- Administration of medications and IVs
- Assist with high-risk deliveries and labor induction
- Provide breastfeeding support and lactation guidance
- Manage postpartum care and complications
- Recognize and treat abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care

- Special Qualifications:
- Must have expert-level knowledge in sterile vaginal exams and triage
- Epic experience required
- Floating between mother-baby units may be required


- Important Notes:
- AWHONN certification is a hard stop for submission
- Experience in charting on Epic is essential
