Financial Systems Manager

Position Summary Our client, a global design and professional services firm with approximately 10 offices worldwide, is seeking an experienced Financial Systems Operations Manager to lead the migration from Deltek Vision to Vantagepoint and serve as the long-term owner of the platform. This highly visible role will partner with Finance, Resource Planning, Project Management, and Operations to optimize processes, reporting, and user adoption across the organization. Key Responsibilities Lead the end‑to‑end Vision‑to‑Vantagepoint migration, including planning, configuration, testing, cutover, and post‑go‑live support. Serve as the New York–based lead for a global implementation program, coordinating stakeholders across multiple offices and regions. Assess current workflows and design future‑state processes aligned with Vantagepoint best practices. Oversee data migration, validation, reconciliation, and user acceptance testing. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external consultants to ensure successful project delivery. Drive change management, training, and user adoption initiatives. Facilitate decision‑making, build consensus, and maintain accountability among senior stakeholders. Participate in the evaluation and selection of implementation partners and oversee their performance throughout the project. Serve as the ongoing SME for Vantagepoint across Finance, CRM, Resource Planning, and Project Management. Develop dashboards, KPIs, reports, and future enhancements and automations. Maintain system governance, data integrity, and vendor relationships. Provide long‑term strategic ownership of the Vantagepoint platform following the targeted go‑live. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field. Eight or more years of Deltek Vision and/or Vantagepoint experience. Proven success leading at least one full‑cycle Vision‑to‑Vantagepoint implementation or migration. Strong understanding of project accounting and ERP systems within the AEC or other project‑based professional services industries. Experience with SQL, business intelligence tools, reporting, and process redesign. Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi‑stakeholder initiatives and influence senior leaders. Experience in a multi‑office or global professional services environment is preferred. Familiarity with Deltek Resource Planning is a plus.
