AssemblerAssembles various units according to production specifications.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Reads machine tags, standard parts list, production orders, and blueprints. Retrieves parts. Moves units to and from workstationsOperates various equipment and machinery. Assemblesvarious subassemblies (i.e. shells, condensers, power blocks, etc.). Performs various assembly operations (i.e. assembling, soldering, wiring, mechanical, electrical, brazing, etc.). Inspects unit and parts to verify conformance to print specifications and ensure quality standards are met.OTHER DUTIES:Performs preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery. Maintains cleanliness of work area and follows safe work practice rules. Performs other miscellaneous duties as required.Physical demands: StandingProlonged periods of standing on production floor (up to 8–10 hours per shift). WalkingFrequent walking around production and packaging areas. LiftingOccasionally lift and move products or materials up to 25–50 lbs. Bending/StoopingRegular bending to inspect lower-level machinery or products. ReachingFrequent reaching over and around equipment or conveyors. ClimbingOccasionally climb steps or ladders to access equipment or inspection points. Repetitive MotionsRepetitive hand and arm movements when conducting tests or entering data.
