SUMMARY: Acts as team leader, responsible for managing and coordinating all team accounts

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Manages assigned accounts; analyzes accounts for adequacy and appropriate coverage. Prepares proposals, analysis and summaries as needed.· Solicits business from potential clients, completes sales and routes documents for processing, opens and services new accounts.· Markets the account and reviews marketing placements.· Builds long-term advisory relationship with clients, manages claims and related issues.· Reviews upcoming renewals 120 days out and sets the course of action by scheduling the team renewal meetings monthly;initiates renewal procedures.· Identifies cross/up selling opportunities. Expands and rounds out existing accounts by identifying potential gaps in coverage, recommending and implementing proper coverage.· Keeps the team informed of the carrier’s appetites and pricing changes. Attends carrier meetings and disseminates information to the team.· Responsible for making sure that all the terms and conditions of the insurance policies are properly prepared.· Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS: · Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, orequivalent combination of education and experience.· Certificates, licenses and registrations required: State Property and Casualty Insurance License· Computer skills required: Applied Systems: Epic Online Database software; Microsoft Office Suite
