VP- Marketing

Reports To:

Basic Function:

Responsible for leading RRCU’s Marketing Department and Community Service Department along with leading social media and RRCU Gives. The end goal is strategically driving growth, ensuring sustained member engagement, community involvement and enhancing the RRCU brand.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and lead Marketing, Community Service, Social Media, and RRCU Gives.
• Monitor market trends, consumer behaviors, and emerging technologies through research and use the information to enhance all marketing efforts.
• Lead, coach, and develop the team while fostering a culture of innovation within the marketing department, encouraging creative thinking and experimentation.
• Be the lead for RRCU Gives to develop the brand and to support the community.
• Implement a data plan to monitor and track marketing across all channels.
• Manage and enhance the company's brand by developing a comprehensive brand strategy.
• Develop a social media plan to enhance the brand and create growth.
• Work with Regional Managers, Department Heads and other key areas to ensure marketing goals are accomplished in those specific areas.
• Possess strong analytical skills of data analytics.
• Ensure compliance with advertising and regulatory standards.
• Oversee community engagement and partnership development initiatives.
• Furthers the goals and positive, professional image of the Credit Union by acting as a major link between the credit union, its members, and the public.
• Works closely with data team to maximize marketing efforts.
• Adhere to all Red River Employees Federal Credit Union policies and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum five years' experience in marketing or business development, ideally with a financial institution.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Proven track record in developing effective marketing strategies.
• Proficient in computer skills and standard office equipment.
• Knowledge of advertising regulations in the financial industry.
• Experience in team mentoring and project management.
• Strong interpersonal skills, maintaining professionalism.
• Ability to meet, speak and deal effectively with people, being professional always.
• Must maintain a neat and professional appearance.
• Available to attend community and business events both during and after business hours as required.
• While the following list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented, identified physical requirements include use of standard office equipment and occasional lifting of 25–50-pound boxes.
