Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Experience: Minimum 2 years; first timers accepted License: RRT required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Community hospital experience required; adult critical care, emergency department experience. Description: This position requires a minimum of two years of experience in respiratory therapy. Candidates with experience in adult critical care and emergency department settings are preferred. The job involves performing various respiratory procedures, including BiPAP and CPAP management. Candidates should be skilled in troubleshooting high-pressure alarms and weaning patients from mechanical ventilation. Additionally, the role includes arterial blood gas interpretation and pulmonary toileting as required. Preferred skills include pulmonary function testing. Experience with specific ventilators is advantageous. Travelers may need to work on major holidays during their assignment. Compliance with all onboarding and clinical requirements is mandatory for timely start.
