Position Overview We are on the lookout for an experienced and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our thriving imaging team dedicated to delivering outstanding patient care. Utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you will conduct essential diagnostic procedures, work alongside a supportive network of clinicians, and offer reassurance to patients through timely and accurate imaging. Description of Responsibilities
- Execute a wide range of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, clearly explaining each step with empathy and care
- Collaborate intimately with radiologists and referring physicians to provide exceptional diagnostic images
- Efficiently operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions
- Thoroughly document procedures and maintain patient information within the electronic medical records
- Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
- Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification desired
- Strong technical competence in sonographic imaging procedures and patient positioning
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
