Maintenance – Maintenance Assistant

JOB IDENTIFICATION INFORMATION

Department: Maintenance

JOB SUMMARY

The Maintenance Assistant will collaborate with the Director of Maintenance to provide care for all properties, grounds, and vehicles, as instructed by the Director.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS

• Provide maintenance of all structures on campus, including repairs as needed.
• Assist in maintenance of all properties and making sure they are in a state of good repair, function and appearance.
• Responsible for appearance and routine maintenance of the grounds
• Respond to work orders in a timely fashion.
• Assist in maintenance of agency vehicles.
• Assist with maintenance volunteers.
• Assist with picking up donations.
• Research repair methods and be teachable to learn new skills as deemed appropriate by Director of Maintenance. 
• Act as a positive role model and assist with residents in the campus work program, as needed. 
• Any other duties or responsibilities as assigned.

• No Experience Required

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in a maintenance role
