Are you ready to transform a year of public service into a lifetime of career success? The California Conservation Corps (CCC) is seeking a visionary, organized, and deeply empathetic Career Pathways & Transition Coordinator to lead our core workforce placement and transition initiatives at the Camarillo Center .

In this vital role, you won't just manage a program—you will architect the future for 100 to 200 young adults. You will serve as the strategic bridge helping our Corpsmembers translate their hard-earned environmental field experience into high-wage, long-term careers, higher education, and advanced training pathways.

Under the direction of the District Director, and with the guidelines of the Corpsmember Development Unit, the Transition Navigator will prepare and place young adult members of the CCC in post-Corps employment, training or educational opportunities.

Working Conditions

This position is classified as "In Office" and is not eligible for telework.

This position reports to the Camarillo Center located at 3200 Wright Road, Camarillo, CA 93010. Check out the on our website to learn more information about this location.

Eligibility Information

In order to be considered for this job vacancy you must satisfy one of the following requirements:

1. List Eligibility – Successfully complete the civil service Analyst 2 exam to be placed on the eligibility list. Please refer to the exam bulletin for more detailed information.

2. Transfer Eligibility – Must have current employment with the State of California in the same classification or in a classification that is comparable. If in a different classification, you must meet the minimum qualifications (see Minimum Qualifications section and associated links above).

3. Reinstatement Eligibility – Previously obtained permanent employment with the State of California in the same classification or in a classification that is comparable. If in a different classification, you must meet the minimum qualifications (see Minimum Qualifications section and associated links above.

4. Training & Development (T&D) Assignment – State employees in a permanent appointment, and no longer on probation, may be considered for a T&D assignment.
