Responsibilities
- Plan & Lead : Coach 2 practices per week on Tuesday and Friday and 1 game per weekend per team (4–6 hours weekly commitment per team).
- Tournaments : Coach 2–6 tournaments annually based on age and skill level.
- Team Communication : Maintain regular communication with parents and players.
- Development : Attend 4 annual coaching workshops and use Trace film breakdown for 9v9 and 11v11 teams.
- Uphold PPA Principles : Embrace our coaching values—be prepared, be a teacher, and foster positive development on and off the field.
Requirements
- Experience : 3+ years of soccer coaching experience, with a proven ability to teach technical and tactical principles effectively.
- Licensing : A minimum US Soccer D License (PPA covers 50% of further license costs).
- Location : Candidates must be local to the Washington, DC/Bethesda, MD area or planning to relocate.
- Skills : Strong communication, enthusiasm, and the ability to balance player development with competitive success.
