Upon acceptance of offer, we will coordinate new hire paperwork and pre-employment substance abuse screening (Drug Free Employer).Essential Functions of the Position (With or Without Reasonable Accommodation):Perform a variety of tasks that will include having to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods of time, stretch, walk, climb and bend under potentially adverse field conditions and be able to perform visual tasks such as backup spotting and hear and react to back up alarms, per safety protocolJob Functions Include But Are Not Limited To:Ability to perform asphalt paving in accordance with DOT, local commercial specificationsMust partner with other crew members to pave roadways utilizing roller equipment and to perform additional tasks of other positions per plan specifications as instructed by supervisors to insure daily schedule/estimates are metProperly follow all company policies and OSHA/DOT regulations for safe working procedures and environmentAbility to be flexible with last minute schedule changes, location changes, time of shift changesAbility and willingness to work along the interstates and thruwaysAbility to withstand common vibratory motion associated with operation of most roller equipment and sometimes rough terrainRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent preferred5 years' experience civil heavy highway construction2 years' experience on roller or similar equipmentFamiliarity with the State of NY and VT specifications, along with heavy highway construction and pavingAbility to travel as needed, including night work and weekend work when requiredMust be able to adapt to and work in extreme weather conditionsKubricky Construction Corp. is a drug-free workplace.
