Job Details.

The Operations Manager will assist the Director of Operations with restaurant operations and business administration, working with site specific General Managers to help ensure all restaurants are compliant with company standards. Uphold high service standards and hospitality with a focus on training, consistent mentorship and maximizing efficiencies. 

• Ensure systems are established to company standards and are followed, working with DO to uphold and adapt company-wide SOPs (service standards, operational SOPs, incident reports, employee documentation)
• Handle licensing, insurance, liability, incident reporting (DOH, SLA, WC, DI, GL, DOT)
• Stay up to date on renewals

• Assist in coordinating technologies and digital assets, marketing, etc across company (POS, AV, CRM, Website, Marketing)
• Maintain restaurant and company R&M documents, organizing contact sheets for equipment, physical plant and technology fixes
• Work with DO to ensure all restaurants stay up to date with service manuals, restaurant policies, training documents, employee documentation (reviews, disciplinary, etc)
• Coordinate marketing - socials and newsletters, working with company technologies to strategically target different groups (Loyalist, OpenTable, Mailchimp)
• Assist with HR and employee communication, strengthening systems 
• Ensure health, safety and sanitation compliance and that all restaurants uphold DOH standards
• Work with onsite managers in leading, training and motivating staff to our high standards of service, coaching in service
• Fill in for GMs when needed (PTO, Sick, Emergency coverage)
• Work service weekly, rotating through properties, coaching staff and ensuring standards are maintained
• Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic initiatives
• Uphold hospitality and guest experience through service

An ideal candidate would possess

• 2 years of management experience
• Thrive in fast-paced environment while supporting staff during service.
• High communication skills with all employees. 
• Likes working closing with all staff to help train and grow in the company. 
• Passionate about creative cocktails and pairing natural wines with food.
• Dedicated to providing a welcoming environment and positive customer experiences. We hold hospitality in very high regard. 
• Open availability is preferred. Must be available to work Nights and Weekends.
• Collaborative team-player is a must
