Social Media ManagerSummary: Responsible for developing and administering social media content that is designed to enhance our brand and build strong online communities through various social media platforms, engage guests and create an interactive relationship between guests and the property. Also collects and reviews social media data to develop more effective campaigns.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Develop social media campaigns that help to achieve company marketing goalsDevelop reports on emerging social media trendsAdminister the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content.Manage efforts in building online reviews and reputation. Monitor online reviews and respond to each review.Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.Advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team membersPosition Requirements - Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of knowledge and experienceMinimum of three (3) years of related experienceKnowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional marketing.Solid understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and content marketing.Familiarity with Photoshop and a good eye for design and the ability to create, source and edit images.Knowledge and experience working with Google analytics and Facebook marketing campaigns.Ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side, able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound.Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills required.In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.Must be at least 21 years of age.Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the companyPhysical Requirements:Occasionally bend, squat, and crouch.Use hands to hold tools and/or equipment required for positionReach with hands and arms above shoulder level.Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Handle high levels of stress including deadlines, vendor discrepancies, employee and guest conflict and resolution.Potential Work Environment Conditions:The work environment is characterized as an office setting, where computers and standard office equipment will be supplied and used as part of the job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The immediate work environment is smoke free however, regular access to smoking areas is also part of the environment.
