By hiring the best people and helping them grow both professionally and personally, we ensure a bright future for NTT DATA Services and for the people who work here.NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Sr. Informatica ETL Developer to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina (US-NC), United States (US).Job Duties:Gather business requirements and review the specs with business and partner system teamsCarryout Impact Analysis and prepare the Impact Analysis documentPrepare the SLA, System Interface Agreements and FSD documentPrepare and maintain source to target mapping specifications, detailing integration and transformation logic, using applicable standardsDevelop ETL mappings using Informatica tools to extracts, transform and load data as per specificationsDevelop and test ETL jobs using Informatica and TeradataCreate autosys jobs for scheduling the batch process by considering the SLAs and dependenciesStrong database skills, experience in writing queries, Data Mining experience and exposure to ETL development are preferredGood understanding and experience in Unix Operating system commands and File System managementPerform peer document reviews and code reviews to ensure adherence to user requirements as well as applicable standards and conventionsPerform required testing of developed procedures and mappingsAssist client team during during integration and User Acceptance testing and code deployment to higher environmentsA strong background working across various teams such as Infrastructure, QA, Configuration Management, Database Administration, Unix Admin and Production Control teamsCoordinate with the offshore team during the entire life cycle of the projectMentoring and providing technical inputs to the individual team members for improved performanceQualification:5 or more years of IT development experience required3 or more years of Informatica development experience. Eg: Power Center Designer, Power Exchange, Workflow manager and Workflow monitor2 or more years of Teradata experience. Experience with various tolls such as BTEQ, MLOAD, FASTLOAD, FAST EXPORT, TPT etc in large Data Warehouse environments preferredExperience with Teradata, Teradata tools such as Loading utilities, Tables and Stored Procedures. Understanding of the roles and user assignmentsExperience in Unix systems, writing shell scripts that control job execution3 or more years of experience in software development methodology life cycle - including business planning, data analysis, process analysis and design, business and functional requirements analysis, use case analysis, system design, development using various tools and techniques, testing and implementation3 or more years of experience working in and/or dynamic cross competency teams using a structured project development methodologyApplicants should be able to develop application domain knowledge and provide subject matter expertise as needed over timeGood written and presentation skillsEducation:Undergradute degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Engineering Graduate degree preferredBasic Qualifications:Qualification:5 years of IT development experience required3 years of Informatica development experience.
