What You'll Do:

• Provide expert pediatric nursing care to critically ill children in the PICU.
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate effective treatment plans.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and team members, respecting diversity and cultural sensitivities.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and supervise licensed and ancillary staff.
• Document patient status and progress accurately and timely.
• Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety standards.

What You Need:

• Current Louisiana RN license
• BLS, PALS, CPI certifications from the American Heart Association and Crisis Prevention Institute
• Minimum of 2 years of PICU or pediatric critical care experience
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment
