CVOR Tech - Acute Care Hospital

This is a 10-hour day shift position (06:00 - 16:30), working four days a week with on-call requirements of 2-3 calls per week and at least 1 weekend per month (24 hours on Saturday and Sunday).

Job Description

The CVOR Tech will assist in the operating room during cardiovascular surgeries. Responsibilities include ensuring aseptic technique, handling specimens, and participating in procedures such as coronary artery bypass graft and mitral valve replacement.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures.
• Assist the surgical team in various cardiovascular procedures.
• Handle and label specimens accurately.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CVOR Tech.
• Must hold a certification from NBSTSA (strongly preferred) and BLS certification.
• Experience with general, neuro, and cardiovascular surgery cases is required.
