Financial Management Analyst

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST – COMPTROLLER DEPARTMENT (N8) – MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND We will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Comptroller Department (N8) of Military Sealift Command. Qualifications For the GS‑11 level At least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS‑09 grade level in the Federal service. Experience demonstrating the following: analyzing and recommending costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management and administrative operations. Directing and performing continuing program execution review, analysis, and appraisal of major operating and support programs within the organization. Implementing legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets and providing advice on effective and efficient methods for acquisition and use of funds. Development, determination, and interpretation of budgetary policies and practices. Diverse fiscal, accounting, or financial management duties and responsibilities. For the GS‑09 level At least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS‑07 grade level in the Federal service. Experience performing or advising work in any phases or systems of budget administration. Experience with basic formulation of budget and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities. Experience reviewing budget requests. Experience with basic interpretation of budgetary policies and practices.
