Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including comprehensive physical examinations and meticulous reviews of medical histories
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and lab results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Offer intraoperative assistance, which involves prepping operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments during procedures
• Provide exemplary pre- and post-operative care encompassing medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Education and Credentials

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience with surgical rotations is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Required certifications in BLS and ACLS
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
