Summary of Benefits Health Insurance: Employees receive Cigna PPO coverage with low premiums—$50/single or $100/family per pay period—and annual deductibles of $2,000/single and $4,000/family. We also offer a retiree health savings plan with a $3,000 annual contribution for the first 5 years by the Township and a mandatory employee contribution, increasing to $4,500 a year for years 5 to 15, and then $6,000 per year over 15 years of service. Job Description At time of interview, candidates must possess: State of Michigan Firefighter I & II Certification State of Michigan Basic EMT license (Paramedic license or enrollment in a Paramedic program preferred) Minimum 15 credit hours from an accredited college / university Successful passing of the Conference of Western Wayne (CWW) Firefighter Testing Program, written and CPAT (Empco written may be substituted for Western Wayne written) Candidates must also pass drug screening, background investigation, psychological exam, multiple oral interviews and post‑offer physical.
