Senior Facilities Manager What this job involves The Senior Facility Manager manages assigned sites within the Client’s owned and/or occupied portfolio, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal requirements while overseeing all lines of business and third‑party relationships. The role includes strategic oversight of facility services, budget management, tenant relations, and staff development to deliver exceptional service outcomes in accordance with established standards and procedures. Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities Manage performance and outcomes of direct reports, executing staff succession and growth plans Maintain interface with third‑party owners (landlords) to ensure contract compliance, accurate reporting, and resolution of critical tenant relations issues Provide overall facility services in accordance with standard processes and procedures, including policy application and information coordination Ensure compliance with portfolio‑wide initiatives and required local, state, and federal laws and regulations for facility operations Prepare, submit, and manage facility budgets aligned with Client goals, tracking variances and ensuring smooth recovery processes Support prompt collection of management fees and reimbursements from third‑party tenants occupying space within owned premises Build actionable and measurable career development plans for every direct report with consistent progress conversations Physical Demands and Work Environment: Office‑based work environment with occasional site visits to assigned facilities Ability to walk through facilities for inspections and assessments Capability to work in various building environments including mechanical rooms and outdoor areas Travel required to multiple assigned sites within designated geography Ability to work standard business hours with occasional after‑hours availability for emergencies Professional appearance required for client and tenant interactions Required Qualifications 8‑10 years of experience leading Integrated Facilities Management teams and services Strong leadership and relationship‑building skills with proven team‑management capabilities Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving skills for complex facility management challenges Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service Knowledge of Excel and ability to analyze data for budget management and reporting Experience with compensation planning processes and staff development Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field Knowledge of standard business and accounting practices Experience with lease administration and landlord‑tenant relationship management Familiarity with facility management software and systems Understanding of building operations, including HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems Experience with budget variance analysis and financial reporting Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements for commercial facilities Location On‑site – Riverwoods, IL Compensation Estimated: 93,600.00 – 103,600.00 USD per year Benefits 401(k) plan with matching company contributions Comprehensive Medical, Dental & Vision Care Paid parental leave at 100% of salary Paid Time Off and Company Holidays Early access to earned wages through Daily Pay Equal Employment Opportunity Jones Lang LaSalle (“JLL”) is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
