We are looking for an organized Part-time Treasurer/Secretary to join our team in Pennsylvania. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working with financial records, supporting day-to-day accounting operations, and maintaining accurate documentation. The position offers the chance to contribute to both payables and receivables activities while using accounting software and administrative skills to keep processes running smoothly.

• Manage incoming invoices, verify details for accuracy, and prepare items for timely payment processing.
• Record financial transactions and update accounting information in QuickBooks and related systems with a high level of precision.
• Support accounts receivable activities by tracking outstanding balances, applying payments, and maintaining organized customer records.
• Enter accounting and payment data into internal records while ensuring consistency across spreadsheets and financial documents.
• Review payment activity and assist in resolving discrepancies by researching supporting documentation and communicating with internal contacts.
• Maintain clear and accurate financial files to support audits, reconciliations, and daily accounting operations.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls, gather and record customer information, and respond to routine inquiries.
• Perform general administrative and secretarial duties, including filing, document management, data entry, and correspondence handling.
• Prepare reports, maintain records, and assist with other office support functions as needed.
• Provide administrative support to the accounting team to ensure efficient day-to-day office operations.

• Experience handling accounts payable responsibilities in an office or accounting environment with a strong focus on detail.
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks for transaction entry, record maintenance, and general accounting support.
• Strong data entry skills with careful attention to accuracy and detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to manage administrative duties while balancing multiple accounting-related tasks.
• Familiarity with payment processing procedures and financial documentation workflows.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work reliably in a team-oriented setting.
• Banking experience is a plus, offering transferable skills in financial transactions, accuracy, customer service, and compliance.
