Role Description The Managing Director is a full-time, on-site role based in New York, NY, responsible for leading client relationships and transaction execution within the digital media and technology sectors. The individual will originate new mandates, structure and oversee M&A and private placement processes, and guide teams through market analysis, valuation, negotiations, and due diligence. Daily responsibilities include managing deal pipelines, coordinating with cross-border offices, mentoring junior professionals, and ensuring high-quality deliverables such as pitch materials and transaction documentation. The Managing Director will collaborate with senior leadership on strategic initiatives, contribute to firm-wide business development, and represent DCA at industry events and client meetings. Qualifications Extensive experience in investment banking or corporate finance, with a strong focus on M&A and capital raising in digital media, technology, or related sectors. Proven track record of originating, leading, and closing complex transactions, including cross-border deals and private placements. Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret market and company data to drive strategic recommendations. Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including managing deal teams, developing talent, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive working environment. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior executives, investors, and other stakeholders. Established network within the digital ecosystem (technology companies, investors, founders) and the ability to build new client relationships. Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) or relevant professional certifications are beneficial.
