Tire and Battery Center Team Leader

Position Summary As a Tire and Battery Center Services Lead you will drive member service in your area and supervise your team of hourly associates to deliver safe and efficient services. You will model expertise in Tire and Battery Center and work collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations. Responsibilities Supervise the team within the Tire and Battery Center to deliver on the business plan and contribute to the overall success of the club. Communicate department goals, set guidelines and expectations for tire and battery service, execute company programs, and advocate for the member, associate and company. Maintain detailed knowledge of business operations, safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, tire recalls, product specifications and seasonality to ensure consistent daily processes. Share knowledge, train the team, and ensure they are equipped with new products, technologies and tools. Leverage digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience and elevate associate engagement. Operate cash registers, process transactions, and support member service as needed. Maintain accurate inventory, audit safety and compliance standards, complete paperwork and documentation. Foster talent development, encourage career growth, source new talent, and support associates through training and mentoring. Promote compliance with company policies, procedures, ethics and the Open Door Policy; assist management with resolving ethical and compliance issues. Model teamwork, respect for individuals, and integrity, and focus on serving customers and members while striving for excellence. Minimum Qualifications At least 6 months of supervisory experience, or 6 months of experience in the automotive industry. Minimum age 18 years. Preferred Qualifications Supervisor experience in the tire industry. Tire industry certification (primary). Compensation The hourly wage range for this position is $23.50 to $31.50 per hour, in addition to potential premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
