Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week night shift contract at a short-term acute care hospital in Washington state.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting with 325 staffed beds
• Respiratory and neuro diagnostics unit
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 18:30–07:00
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Floating between all facilities within the state is expected
• Block scheduling is not available at this time
• Charting via Epic (required)

Requirements

• Current RRT or CRT credential required
• Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS
• Proficiency in mask fitting, Cheyne-Stokes monitoring, periodic breathing assessment, end-tidal CO2, and O2 saturation monitoring
• Experience with Draeger and/or Bellavista ventilators preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Active professional license required at time of consideration; license required if applicable
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates with a permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this travel contract
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Candidates who have previously worked at a Providence facility as a permanent employee, traveler, or registry/per diem must disclose the location(s) and dates worked
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront; minimal RTO is preferred
• On-call is not required for this position
