Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' musculoskeletal conditions through thorough evaluations, ensuring accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation treatment plans focusing on improving mobility, strength, balance, and flexibility tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation, to optimize patient recovery.
• Actively engage in clinical teaching, guiding physical therapy interns and students through practical experience, fostering the next generation of physical therapists.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and occupational therapists, to create cohesive treatment strategies and enhance overall patient care.
• Participate in ongoing clinical research initiatives supported by management, contributing to the advancement of orthopedic physical therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on patients dealing with orthopedic issues, ranging from sports-related injuries to post-operative rehabilitation. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• A current and active license to practice physical therapy in New York State is mandatory.
