Job Details Location: Nashville, TN 37208 Setting: Medical-Surgical Unit Assignment Length: 16 weeks Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week Hours per Week: 36 Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 - $1,770 Floating: Required to other med-surg, telemetry, forensic, ED, and postpartum units as needed Weekend Coverage: Required, with scheduled weekend rotation Job Requirements At least 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience Active Tennessee RN license or compact multi-state license at time of submission Current Nursys report with active license status BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and CPI certifications required; MAB accepted in lieu of CPI Comfortable caring for a varied patient population, including forensic and prison-population patients Ability to adapt quickly, float between units, and maintain strong clinical judgment in a fast-paced hospital environment Responsibilities Deliver safe, compassionate care to medical-surgical patients with varying acuity levels Monitor and assess patients, implement care plans, and communicate changes promptly to the care team Administer medications and perform treatments in accordance with clinical standards and unit protocols Support telemetry and float assignments while maintaining a high level of professionalism and teamwork Provide care for patients with complex social and medical needs in a respectful, patient-centered manner Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote positive outcomes and a smooth patient experience Why Apply for This Travel Nursing Job in Nashville?
