Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Nashville, Tennessee. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) Nurse in en_US This position involves providing specialized care within the medical-surgical department with telemetry monitoring. The role requires assessing and responding to patient needs, reading telemetry strips, and ensuring patient safety during shifts scheduled from 7 am to 7 pm. Job Details Position Description: Certified nursing professionals must be able to read telemetry strips. Travelers will be tested prior to orientation on arrhythmia readings and heparin distribution; failure to pass may result in contract cancellation. Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), CPI (or MAB), and NIHSS are required before the start of the assignment. Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. Orientation and assignment start dates are scheduled as follows: September 8th, September 22nd, October 6th, October 20th, November 3rd, November 17th, December 1st, December 15th. Float: Float rotation may be required within the scope of practice. Additional Information: Compliance clearance is required 10 days prior to orientation. Orientation topics include ED, Med Surg, Tele, Forensics, ICU, NICU, Postpartum, and Labor & Delivery specialties.
