LACCD Project Engineer III

Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Simplex is required. All contract professional positions are full time, in person positions. You must be located in Southern California. No relocation funds and no per diem will be offered. Location: District Office, Los Angeles, CA Number of positions: 1 Type: Direct Hire Salary Range: $136K - $152K Minimum Requirements Minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience in a similar role or position in construction. BS/BA Degree in construction, engineering, or architecture. Four years of additional qualifying experience in excess to the minimum years stated above may be substituted for the required education. Proficient with Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and SharePoint. Experience using BlueBeam and Adobe software for document reviews/mark-ups. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to take initiative and make sound decisions. Effectively manage daily work effort. Good communication skills verbal and writing. Preferred Qualifications Experience working on tenant improvement projects. Previous experience with Change Orders and Supporting Documentation. Previous experience with educational projects. Experience working on a large client program. Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with Prolog, Trimble Unity Construct (formerly e-Builder), Proliance or other PMIS systems. Experience with Adobe Acrobat sign (formerly Adobe E-Sign). Compensation The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors such as individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.
