Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will engage with clients in various capacities:

• Conduct individual and couples therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance relationships and mental well-being.

• Assess and address complex family dynamics, facilitating sessions that include the entire family when needed.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to address specific challenges like alcohol abuse, grief, job stress, and communication difficulties.

• Provide ongoing support and therapeutic interventions for adjustments related to separation, divorce, and blended family issues.

• Document client progress meticulously to track treatment efficacy and make necessary adjustments.

• Stay informed about new therapeutic techniques and participate in professional development to enhance clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will serve a diverse clientele, including couples, families, adults, children, and adolescents. The patients may present with various issues such as mental health concerns, interpersonal conflicts, trauma-related challenges, and adjustment disorders. Your ability to interact effectively with patients from different backgrounds will be crucial in providing culturally competent care.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate must meet the following criteria:

• Possess an active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

Preferred Experience\n

While we welcome applicants at varying career stages, candidates with prior experience in various therapy modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or family systems therapy, will be at an advantage. Flexibility in scheduling and the capacity to work at least 30 hours per week are also preferred attributes.
