Senior Procurement Analyst
CooperDouglas is partnering with a high-growth, large consumer and distribution company seeking a sharp, strategic Senior Procurement Analyst to elevate their supplier rebate and procurement finance function. This role blends rebate management, vendor analytics, and FP&A, with direct exposure to leadership and cross-functional teams. As a Senior Procurement Analyst, you will act as a key partner across Finance, Supply Chain, and Sales, owning rebate analysis, supplier performance insights, and cost optimization initiatives. You will be responsible for translating complex vendor and purchasing data into clear, actionable insights that drive margin expansion and operational efficiency. This role requires strong business acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to challenge assumptions and influence decision-making.
What You'll Do
- Own and manage supplier rebate programs, including tracking, accruals, validation, and forecasting of credits
- Analyze vendor spend, rebate structures, and purchasing trends to identify cost savings opportunities and margin improvement
- Develop financial models to evaluate pricing, rebate impact, and supplier performance across product lines
- Build KPI dashboards and reporting that provide visibility into vendor performance, rebates, and procurement efficiency
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, Pricing, and Supply Chain to ensure accurate margin reporting and rebate application
- Lead monthly reporting and support forecasting cycles related to rebates, procurement, and cost of goods
- Support RFQ and sourcing initiatives through data analysis, supplier comparison, and cost optimization
- Contribute to strategic initiatives by providing insights that drive supplier strategy and operational improvements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in procurement finance, FP&A, or corporate finance with direct rebate experience required
- Strong understanding of supplier rebates, accruals, and vendor agreement structures
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
- Experience with large datasets and ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar
- Familiarity with ERP and planning systems such as Great Plains, Dynamics365, SQL, or Adaptive
